Fifty-two Sundays a year, your pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade child will experience the excitement of activity stations, small group connection time, kid targeted worship, a creative large group teaching event, and personal interaction during small group time.  Our prayer is that the Inspiration Island experience will be the best hour of your child’s week.

The Children’s Ministry Team is focused on the following important values:

Relationships - Building meaningful relationships through connecting with peers and adults that will continue in and out of Inspiration Island. (Colossians 3: 12-14)

Curriculum - Creative, relevant teaching of God’s word to touch a child’s heart, encouraging salvation and Christian living. (II Timothy 3: 16)

Environment - Creating a child centered atmosphere which is exciting, safe, and respectful. (Mark 10: 13-16)

Worship - Encouraging children to respond to God’s love through music and movement. (John 4: 24)

Two additional Inspiration Island ministries include "Helping Hands" and "Caring For Others". 

"Helping Hands" is beginning to target the special members of our church community. We will be servicing children with emotional, mental or physical challenges, as volunteers develop their skills and expertise. These children with special needs will be able to receive the extra attention they need to worship and learn during Sunday School. Volunteers will be trained to adapt and modify classroom activities as needed for our children with special needs.

Through "Caring For Others" the children of Inspiration Island are offered the opportunity to support a child in need through Compassion International. Inspiration Island sponsors a little girl from Brazil named Tessia, & a little boy named Edwardo from the Philippines. Each week an empty coconut is passed around to collect money for the monthly donation to each of them. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience what giving truly is. It is also a great way for parents to help their children understand the importance of tithing, and giving back to God for all the things that He has done for us!
